MitID Update: CPR Matching Validation Enabled

We would like to inform customers of an update to the MitID integration.

MitID authentication requests that include a presetid/login_hint will now perform a CPR/loginHint validation (CPR Match) during the authentication flow. If the provided CPR/loginHint matches the authenticated user, authentication will proceed normally. If the validation fails, the authentication request will be rejected and a failure response will be returned with the corresponding error details (for example, LOGIN_HINT_MISMATCH).

Impact:

Applies to MitID private authentication flows only.
Does not apply to MitID Erhverv, CIBA requests, or MitID iFrame requests.

Action Required: If your integration uses presetid or login_hint, please ensure that the CPR/loginHint information provided is accurate and aligned with the user's MitID identity to avoid authentication failures.
